Taskmaster Club launched in schools in Autumn 2023. In the club sessions, a school Taskmaster is ably assisted by Little Alex Horne himself, as he sets tasks for the children that test their powers of creativity, lateral thinking, problem-solving and collaboration.
Taskmaster Club is a paid-for club that can be set up in primary or secondary schools, with home educators, or by other groups, such as youth clubs, holiday schemes or Scouts and Guide groups, anywhere in the world.
A pilot of Taskmaster Club ran in the summer term of 2023, with around 40 schools taking part. The teachers and children alike loved the sessions, with Club Taskmasters saying:
“The prize task is GREAT at getting parents and carers involved.”
“Absolutely loved it - so much (chaotic) fun for me and the pupils!”
“Just that we absolutely loved it - every student marked it 5/5 for enjoyment and unanimously called for it to return in the Autumn! Thank you for letting us join in!”
“I have thoroughly enjoyed running the club at school and have been in awe of the children's creativity and excitement at every task. We are definitely looking forward to this becoming a regular fixture in our yearly calendar. Thank you.”
