Plinths are the unsung heroes of Taskmaster. Elevating and proudly displaying the all-important item at the centre of any given task. Similarly, the Plinth series of Taskmaster Club aims to elevate your young Tasketeers to enable them to proudly display their skills of creativity, problem solving, teamwork, and much more.
The Map Men become the latest guest task setters for this series. Whether you prefer your geography with a side of comedy or your comedy with a side of geography, these are the men for you. As well as geography, other curriculum areas featured include design, history and writing. The Plinth series will develop communication, collaboration, and perseverance while presenting novel opportunities to apply knowledge and understanding in engineering and writing.
Club members will: secure a sturdy structure to withstand a shock; conjure new narratives for familiar characters; and teach your Taskmaster a lesson they’ll never forget.
The tasks in this session are all about famous landmarks. Identifying landmarks, creating landmarks and even becoming landmarks.
Faulty TowersSurvival is the order of the day as your teams will get to apply their knowledge of earthquakes, just not always in the most useful way.
Writing WrongsOf all the characters in all the books in all the world, which ones are your favourites? In this session your contestants will take an eclectic literary cast and transport them to a whole new fictional world.
On the Nose ProseThese tasks will encourage wordplay and the exploration of language while your teams play with powerful poetry to perform the perfect tasks.
Past MastersTeams will change history (hopefully) for the better and mime the biographies of significant figures as they look back and learn from the past.
Mind-Boggling GlobetrottingAs well as creating maps, contestants will also be creating entire new countries and teaching you a lesson you’ll never forget (which should be less terrifying than it might sound).
Transition Club

Taskmaster Transition Club allows you to get to know your new students with 8 fun and intriguing tasks, while they get to know each other and your learning environment. It’s the perfect activity for Transition Day or to kick-off the new school year with your class.
In this one-off session, your students will work in teams to take on engaging tasks and win points while developing teamwork, creativity and communication skills and thinking strategically.
During the session, participants will: give emotional performances; propel peas with perfect precision; conjure up some cunningly inquisitive questions and much, much more!
Make sure you share the prize task video a few days before you plan to run the full session. This will allow the teams to consider and prepare their entries.
Be sure to set the Prize Task in good time before your Taskmaster Transition Club session – it's essential as this task requires a little thought from the participants.

History, as with Taskmaster Club, is littered with bizarre decisions, unnecessary disagreements, over-the-top personalities and lessons around the importance of negotiation. We also hope, at Taskmaster History Club, your teams will learn from their mistakes, so they aren’t repeated in the future.
Greg Jenner is the great guest task setter for this series. He’s a hilarious historian who has worked on the hugely popular TV show, Horrible Histories. As well as discussing and applying their historical knowledge and understanding, the Taskmaster History Club series will also develop creativity, resilience and leadership skills while promoting collaboration and communication.
Club members will: go back in time to a variety of periods; plan the perfect historical heist; and cheat their way to quizzing glory.
This first session is all about bringing history to life, accurately and emotionally. Pass the tissues…
A Herculean TaskTime to channel your inner Greek God or Goddess to tackle some tasks of mythical proportions.
The Great Task CaperPlanning a historical heist is never easy, but when you’re against the clock it becomes a particularly taxing task. Significant statues and amazing artefacts will also be examined in this session.
History RepeatingYou have a chance to go backwards in time in this session as we recreate significant moments from history...in reverse.
Past MastersTeams will change history (hopefully) for the better and mime the biographies of significant figures as they look back and learn from the past.

Duck Club

Rubber ducks are bright, fun and joyful, just like the young people who take part in Taskmaster Club. Ducks have long been used on the show and at the Club because they represent serious competition derived from a very unserious object.
Greg Jenner becomes the latest guest task setter for this series. He’s a hilarious historian who has worked on the hugely popular TV show, Horrible Histories. In this session your teams will get to answer the age-old question, ‘how long is a piece of sting?’ as well as tackling a few other string-based tasks to great effect.
Sports DayThere are some classic sports day events in this session and a few that will test your teams in more novel ways. Sporting prowess, tactical ingenuity, and quick-thinking will be the order of the day.

The caravan has been an iconic feature of Taskmaster from the beginning, being of significance for practical, creative and comedic reasons. Similarly, the Caravan series of Taskmaster Club promises to develop practicality and creativity while raising more than a few laughs.
There is a strong design theme through this series, with a number of STEM-based episodes including a special task set by Joseph’s Machines. Other curriculum areas featured include music and geography. The Caravan series will develop innovation, teamwork and problem-solving skills while celebrating quick thinking and ingenuity.
Club members will: construct card towers while displaying geographical genius; create a spectacular domino rally; and build the best volcano!
To kick off this series, your teams will become designers. They get to design flags, cups, and entirely new inventions, but the materials they can use aren’t always straightforward.

Socks are an important part of the outfits of both the Taskmaster and his trusty Assistant, and the only bits that change from episode to episode. Just like the socks on the shows, we hope your contestants will experience a positive change, be vibrant, and be carried through the chaos, every step of the way.
In this series, we traverse a number of curriculum areas: maths, music, PE, history and art, with a variety of tasks that will develop communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
Club members will: commentate on impressive physical feats; reverse historically significant events; and keep their artwork safely at arm's length.
The first session gives the contestants the chance to explore pitch, rhythm and melody. The instruments they use may be musical, improvised, or even completely imaginary.
Hype and MightyEveryone gets to play to their strengths in this session and be physical impressive in their own special way.
Divide and ConquerYour Task-math-sters get to put the very best of their maths knowledge to the test in this episode, which includes more tasks than we’ve ever had in any single Taskmaster Club session!

Taskmaster Book Club is a celebration of all things books and reading. It’s the perfect activity to support a book day, book week or even a book month.
In this one-off Taskmaster Book Club session, your students will work in teams to take on engaging tasks and win points while developing teamwork, problem solving, creativity and communication skills.
During the session, Club members will: write new stories with familiar characters; design a domino rally; build brilliant book towers and settings; and so much more!
Make sure you watch the prize task video a week or so before you plan to run the full session. This will allow the teams to prepare their entry.

Maths is everywhere, especially in Taskmaster, although we would tend to measure in centipedes rather than centimetres. Taskmaster Maths Club includes a series of 6 sessions which all have a mathematical theme to the tasks. These can be used as part of your maths curriculum, extra-curricular activities, or during enrichment sessions.
As well as developing and applying numeracy and problem-solving skills, your teams will also be considering strategy and reasoning, while working in teams to display their maths knowledge in a variety of different ways.
Club members will: display diverse data in novel ways; utilise socks in surprising situations, and attempt a special task set by Professor Hannah Fry.
Making graphs can be hard work sometimes, especially when your resources and subject matter are a little bit off piste.

Design helps us to solve problems, communicate ideas, and make everything work just that little better. In Taskmaster, it also helps to create chaos. Taskmaster Design Club blends creative thinking with hands-on making, encouraging you to design, test, and refine your ideas. Through creative tasks and thoughtful tinkering, you’ll discover how good design shapes the world - and how bad design can have hilarious consequences.
As well as developing and applying creativity and problem-solving skills, your teams will also be honing their reasoning and quick-thinking, while working in teams - communicating, collaborating and compromising.
Club members will: design, build and then spectacularly knock things down; become rocket engineers; and attempt to build bridges, flinging machines and volcanoes.
To kick off this design series, your teams will become designers. They’ll design flags, cups, and entirely new inventions, but the materials available for these tasks aren’t always entirely straightforward.

Taskmaster Music Club takes music seriously, just not sensibly by embraceing the joy of making music under some strange rules. With tasks which quietly develop musical technique, listening skills, and creativity - while reminding us that playfulness is often the fastest route to brilliance. Taskmaster Music Club includes a series of 6 sessions which all have an artistic theme to the tasks. These can be used as part of your music curriculum, extra-curricular activities, or during enrichment sessions.
As well as developing and applying musical skills, your teams will also be considering strategy and reasoning, while working in teams to develop their creativity in different ways.
Club members will: perform positive raps inspired by MC Grammar; write and play songs using musical instruments (and instruments that aren’t instruments at all); and create Taskmaster the Musical – in 10 minutes..

By tackling art tasks inspired by the show—draw it big, use the wrong tool, don’t ask why—we develop real skills, creative courage, and a healthy appreciation for nonsense. Taskmaster Art Club includes a series of 6 sessions which all have an artistic theme to the tasks. These can be used as part of your art curriculum, extra-curricular activities, or during enrichment sessions.
As well as developing and applying artistic skills, your teams will also be considering strategy and reasoning, while working in teams to develop their creativity in different ways.
Club members will: paint at arm's length; make masterpieces from toilet paper; and reimagine some of the most famous artwork ever created, in 3D.
This session is all about prettiest piles of ‘p’s, portraits, and posture, but definitely not penguins or potatoes.

Patatas the Cat has featured in many a daring Taskmaster task: being rescued, being flung out of the roof of the dome, and, well, maybe that’s it, but still pretty impressive. So, what better way to honour this Taskmaster Club series by naming it after the bravest of creatures.
In this block, a number of the tasks are physical with creative elements. Physical examples include hoopla skills and tower-building, with creativity featuring heavily in some performance-based tasks and musical tasks.
Club members will: hone their all-important hoopla skills; stage their own dramatic rescue; engage in some classic tower-building; get lyrical; and so much more!

Taskmaster Drama Club is a celebration of big performances, small stages, and the occasional completely forgotten line. Expect bold characters, wild improvisation, and a touch of melodrama - because where’s the fun in underacting?
In this series, Club members will: perform marvellous miracles; take on the role of a mythical multi-headed beast; recreate classic computer games with comic effect; and discover that sometimes the best drama happens when things go gloriously wrong.
It’s a truly miraculous start to this block of Taskmaster Club. You’ll see why VERY soon.

Some say sport is about physical excellence. Others say it’s about mental discipline. We say it’s about looking heroic while wearing a sweatband while getting 3 inflatable excercise balls to the top of a hill. Taskmaster Sports Club takes episodes from classic series of Taskmaster Club and celebrates the glorious world of physical(ish) challenges - and the joy of bending the rules in our favour.
In this series, Club members will: score incredible goals; create high-intensity exercise demonstrations; impressively throw things into other thing; and create ingenious, ambitious obstacle courses, pushing the boundaries of both sporting achievement and common sense.
It’s to realise your ultimate goal by scoring the ultimate goal.
Work it OutAfter me, ‘to the left, to the right, take it back now, slide”…into this session of Taskmaster Club.

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the land, teachers were looking for fun, engaging Christmas themed activities to keep their students focused and learning. Then along came Taskmaster Christmas Club and everyone was very, very happy.
In this one-off Taskmaster Christmas Club session, your students will work in teams to take on festive tasks and win points while developing teamwork, problem solving, creativity and communication skills.
During the session Club members will: rewrite some classic Christmas Carols; creatively construct crackers; build snowmen, whatever the weather; put their own personal twist on the Christmas story; and so much more!
Make sure you watch the prize task setting video a week or so before you plan to run the full session. This will allow the teams to prepare their entry.
Be sure to set the Prize Task before the day of your Taskmaster Christmas Club session so the teams to plan their approach before the big day.
