This year, Taskmaster Education have teamed up with Comic Relief to bring you a brilliantly bonkers assembly for Red Nose Day on Friday 20 March. The assembly will challenge brave school staff members to channel their inner stand-up comedian, battling it out against their colleagues in a bid to be crowned Taskmaster Champion!
The assembly contestants will need to take themselves funny for money in a series of brilliantly bonkers tasks set by Little Alex Horne himself. Beginning, as ever, with a prize task, and then getting stuck into a series of nonsensical capers, cheered on, of course, by the whole assembly cohort…
Schools (and any other setting where a multitude of fun people are gathered) are invited to get creative in the ways that the assembly is used to raise money for Comic Relief. They can charge a fee for entry, put on a Taskmaster event and sell tickets, or get the children to vote with coins for who they think should participate, or who they think might win.
Who will impress your school Taskmaster the most and emerge victorious as the Taskmaster Champion for your school?
You can also get involved in other ways by having a go at the Prize Task yourself (and letting us know how you get on by submitting your entries here) or by purchasing the limited edition Taskmaster x Comic Relief resource pack, featuring some more sublimely silly tasks and some props for a truly authentic tasking experience, all while giving a little more where you can to the most excellent of causes. Find out more here.
If that whets your appetite and you’d like to get involved, be sure to register for Red Nse Day here and, if you’re able to, don’t forget to donate to support the brilliant work done by Comic Relief.
